Anna is a passionate dancer and choreographer with deep roots in both Latin and Polish folk traditions. Based in Norway, she teaches bachata sensual (solo & partnerwork), Cuban salsa, and is the only certified ConRi style instructor in the country. With over a decade of teaching experience and a background in music, she brings strong technique, musicality, and soul to every class. Her mission: to inspire, educate, and connect people through the art of dance.

Anna Julia Schartum is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and certified ConRi instructor based in Norway. With roots in Polish folk dance and a musical upbringing playing the piano, Anna began her dance journey at the age of seven and has been immersed in movement and rhythm ever since.

Her dance style is a rich blend of cultures and emotions. She specializes in bachata sensual – including ConRi style – Cuban salsa, and traditional Polish folk dances. Drawing from years of experience both as a performer and teacher, Anna seamlessly fuses technique, musicality, and artistic expression.

In her childhood, she performed with the renowned Polish folk ensemble Krakowiak, and later became an established instructor, teaching Cuban salsa for over seven years in Drammen, Norway. She has also led both solo and partner-based bachata sensual classes and workshops, cultivating a supportive and empowering environment for dancers of all levels.

Anna is proud to be the only certified ConRi style instructor in Norway. She continues to grow as an artist through international dance congresses, private mentorships, and training with some of the world’s top bachata and salsa dancers.

Her mission is to inspire others through dance, guide students toward technical excellence, and help them find their unique expression through rhythm and movement. As she evolves as a choreographer, Anna aims to blend diverse styles and cultures into a unique and soulful dance language.
